It is created in 1986 under the label of SOFAT , which it preserved to commercialize its products . The FTT is specialized in the manufacturing of wall coverings and small- sized tile (10/20 cm and 20/20cm)

Perpetuating the very ancient Tunisian tradition of mosaïcs production and conservation, the FTT has cumulated a very rich and varied know-how in the domain of tile with arabesque . patterns .
These arabesque patterns inspired from ancient mosaïcs are very appreciated in certain European countries, in the middle East and especiall in North Africa , where they perpetuate a sort of cultural identification .

The paste used by the FTT ,a soft paste ,profits of the perference that certain European and American countries have for that type of clay ,which particularly values the enamel because it dosen’t alter either its colour or shape.
In addition the FTT has integrated the transfer of its tile, thanks to a third fire- that is resorting to a low temperature-and has thus produced nice pictures with the same tile .
